Alyssa Lovegrove was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of
The Great Lilttle Trading Company (GLTC), a London-based internet and mail order retailer of children's household products. Launched in the mid 1990's, GLTC was one the UK's fastest growing middle market companies.
Alyssa began her career on Wall Street as a commercial lender for Bankers Trust Company (now Deutsche Bank), and later joined the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in New York, as a specialist in the financial services sector. Alyssa moved to McKinsey's London office in 1990 and remained at McKinsey until leaving the firm to launch her own business venture.
Since returning to the US in 2007, Alyssa has continued to work in support of entrepreneurs, as both angel investor and mentor to start-up businesses, and through various community and non-profit organizations. Alyssa is currently serving as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
Alyssa received a bachelor's degree from Harvard College and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
